Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)/Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
This group follows the 12-step recovery process
for beating the addiction to alcohol and other drugs. This on-going
self-help group meets several times a week. The only requirement
for this group is a desire to quit using or to stay clean. For meeting
times, consult the Counseling & Student Development Center,
871.2300.
In addition to individual therapy, the Counseling
and Wellness Center offer group therapy if there is
enough interest in a specific topic. Groups offered in the past
include Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA), Eating Disorders, Non-traditional
Students, Relationships, Sexual Victimization, and Separating Parents.
