Chief John Dougherty – Serving Since 2002

John graduated from the Rural Police Training Institute in 2002.  John had obtained his New York State Law Enforcement Certification in Basic Municipal Police.  John serves as a part-time Police Officer for the Alfred and Wellsville Police Departments.  John has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

Officer Matthew Dodge – Serving Since 2006

Matthew graduated from the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy in 2005.  Matthew had obtained his New York State Law Enforcement Certification in Basic Municipal Police.  Matthew serves as a part-time Police Officer for the Village of Alfred and the Village of Canisteo Police Departments.  Matthew has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management and a minor in Economics.  Matthew is a 2001 Alfred University Alumni.

Officer Ryan Mckee – Serving Since 2007

Ryan graduated from the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy in 2007.  Ryan had obtained his New York State Law Enforcement Certification in Basic Municipal Police. Ryan serves as a part-time Police Officer for the Village of Andover Police Department.

Officer Paul Griffith – Serving Since 2008

Paul is a part-time Public Safety Officer.  Paul graduated from the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy. In 1998, he was appointed as a full-time Patrolman for Alfred Police Department. In 2006 Paul was promoted to the rank of Sergeant/Investigator for Alfred Police Department. Paul holds an Associate of Science Degree from Vermilion Community College in Minnesota.

Officer Tory Rounds – Serving Since 2008

Tory is a part-time Public Safety Officer. Tory graduated from the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy. In 1998, Tory was appointed to full-time Alfred Police Officer. Tory attended Corning Community College and serves as a part-time Police Officer for the Village of Angelica, City of Wellsville and Village of Willing Police Departments.

Officer James Rumfelt – Serving Since 2008

Jim is a part-time Public Safety Officer. Jim graduated from the Erie County Central Police Services Academy.  Jim serves full time as the Officer-in-Charge for the Andover Police Department. Jim serves as a Part-time Police Officer with the Village of Alfred. Jim has a psychology degree from J.C.C. Olean.
