Welcome to Special Academic Services! Special Academic Services Special Academic Services provides support services, consultation, and advocacy for students with learning, physical, and/or psychological disabilities. Services for persons with disabilities shall complement and support, but not duplicate, the University's regular existing services and programs. Alfred University strives to provide equitable and efficient services to all students. In addition, Special Academic Services is available to consult with faculty, staff, and administration on disability related issues, determining reasonable and appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities, and facilitating the delivery of services.
