Three faculty in the Inamori School of Engineering at Alfred University accompanied a pair of PhD engineering students to Panama City, Panama, in April for the Pan American Ceramics Congress and Ferroelectrics Meeting of Americas (PACC-FMAs 2024).
An exhibition featuring the work of the late Robert C. Turner ’49, Alfred University alumnus and former professor of ceramic art in the University’s School of Art and Design, will be shown at the Black Mountain College Museum and Arts Center in Asheville, NC.
Alfred University held its 7th Annual All Employee Recognition Reception on Tuesday, May 7. The event—which honored retirees and employees for years of service—was held in Ade Hall, with light refreshments and beverages.
Examples of the travel photojournalism of the late Caroline Littell of Alfred will be on view May 2 through June 26 in the main-floor gallery of Alfred University’s Scholes Library. For a time in the late 1970s, Littell was employed at Alfred University as director of the school’s language laboratory and overseas study program. She died in Pasadena, CA, in 2015.
