Summer Orientation 2019 Schedule

Our orientation program is geared toward our incoming students, although there is information provided that will be beneficial for parents to learn about as well!

Students attending the August orientation will be considered ‘early arrivals’ meaning that you will move into the residence hall and room assigned to you for your first year at AU. If you need to arrive in Alfred the day before (August 19th) Orientation begins due to travel distance, please contact Shelby O’Rourke. Shelby will need to know when you plan to arrive so that we can make sure that arrangements are made for you to get your residence hall key on Monday and whether or not you will need a meal Monday evening. As a reminder, we are only able to accommodate students for Orientation. There are hotels in the area where arrangements for parents/families can be made.
