Common Registration Errors
Registration Error Explanation Action to Take
Closed - Waitlist Full The class is closed and the waitlist has maxed out. Since the class and the waitlist are full, the best course of action is to work with your advisor to choose another course.
Closed - XXX Waitlisted The number of available seats is zero and there are students on the waitlist. The number already on the waitlist is indicated using three digits instead of "XXX".For example, "006 WAITLISTED" = 6 students on the waitlist. You can waitlist yourself, if desired, by clicking "Submit" when the "Waitlisted" option appears in the dropdown, or select a different course or section. If you do not "Submit" when given the choice to waitlist, you will not be on the Waitlist.
Closed Section There are no available seats in the class and there is not a waitlist available. You will either need to find another course to register for or work with the instructor about a capacity override.
Corequisite ___ is required You need to take both courses at the same time. Typically seen in Lecture and Lab courses You will need to register or drop for both classes at the same time.

Financial responsibility This means you have not yet submitted your financial responsibility statement. In the left hand corner, go to the student services tab and the very last link will say "Financial Responsibility Statement" click on that link to read through and submit the statement. Once submitted, the hold will remove automatically.

Maximum Hours Exceeded This means you're attempting to go over the maximum credit hour. If you wish to go over the maximum, you'll need to receive your deans' permission in person via the form on the website or in the Student Service Center.
