The Alfred community and its surrounding area offer a wide range of spiritual opportunities for Alfred University students. Religious communities in the village and beyond welcome student participation, and many religious groups offer on-campus activities and programs specifically designed for University students.
Due to Covid-19 and the University’s current restrictions discouraging large gatherings and off-campus activities, Alfred University is recommending that students not attend area worship or spiritual services. Many of our area religious communities, however, are providing access to their services and activities through live-streaming, and religious leaders are available to students through email, phone, or individual socially distanced meetings. Contact information and links to live-streamed services are listed below.

Almond Community Church
The Almond Community Church has a food pantry available to students in need. It is open Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 9am - Noon at the Church on Main St. Almond, or by appointment. Check the website (pending) for a list of items available. Students could then email their orders to the church and the church will arrange a delivery time and place on campus for pick-up.
