Off Campus Living
Off-campus environment
The Town and Village of Alfred, New York, are distinguished by their rural setting, the vibrancy of a collegiate atmosphere, the intimate size of the neighborhoods and business center and a spirit defined by friendly and caring residents.
Eligibility to live off-campus
Students who meet the criteria to be considered for approval to be granted a housing release based on the housing policy must do so by completing the housing waiver form located in the housing portal. Once the form has been completed, submitted, and received, it will be reviewed once final grades for each semester have been submitted. A decision will then be made.
Students will be notified in mid-December for spring and mid-May for fall.
If a student chooses to move off-campus without being released by the Office of Student Experience to do so, he or she will still be charged the double room rate.
