Faculty and Staff Holiday Schedule
During the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, Alfred University will observe the following holidays:

The following four holidays are included as part of the December Holiday:
- President's Day
- Martin Luther King's Birthday
- Veterans Day
- Columbus Day
It is University policy to allow paid time off for up to half a day for personnel to observe one major religious holiday each calendar year.
Personal Day and Floating Holiday: These days may be taken any time during the calendar year (anniversary year for Statutory employees); all such days are subject to supervisor approval.
Note
- Fall Semester: Classes begin Monday, August 25, 2025 and semester ends Friday, December 12, 2025
- Spring Semester: Classes begin Tuesday, January 20, 2026 and semester ends Monday, May 11, 2026
