Performance Review

Employee How To (Self Appraisal):

  1. When you log in you will see your Dashboard.
  2. On your Dashboard on the left hand side select Performance.

  3. Once you select that you will see the My Current Evaluation Section. Click on the Evaluation, and it will navigate to Perform.

  4. Under Ratings:
    1. You will see two options Rating for Employee and Rating for Manager. You will click on the green button that says Rate.

    2. Once you click into the Evaluation you will see the different sections, you will rate yourself for each category as appropriate, you can add comments for each category. Comments will be required for any rating that is Improvement Needed/Unsatisfactory Performance for Support Staff or Disagree/Strongly Disagree for Administrative and Technical Specialist. You can use the next button in the top right hand corner to move through all of the categories.
    3. Once you are done you will Submit Evaluation, then it will go to your Manager for their review and comments.
  5. Sign-off on Review: Once your Manager has completed their portion of your review you will have outstanding tasks on your Dashboard to sign your final evaluation. From there you can print your evaluation for your records, but it will also be stored in the system for you as well.

Manager How To (Employee Eval):

  1. When you log in you will see your Dashboard.
  2. On your Dashboard on the left hand side select Performance.
  3. Once you select that you will see the My Team’s Evaluation Section, click on the Rating and this will take you to the Evaluation(s) that need to be completed.
  4. Click on the Eval and click the green rate button.
  5. Once you click into the Evaluation you will see the different sections, you will rate your employee for each category as appropriate, you can add comments for each category. Comments will be required for any rating that is Improvement Needed/Unsatisfactory Performance for Support Staff or Disagree/Strongly Disagree for Administrative and Technical Specialist. You can use the next button in the top right hand corner to move through all of the categories.
  6. After you review the employee, you will need to set future performance objectives, once everything is done you can submit the evaluation.
  7. Once you submit the evaluation you have a final step of signing the evaluation, it will take you out to the page where you can do this. On this page you will be able to review how the employee rated themselves vs. how you, the manager, rated the employee.

  8. Once you sign off on it, it sends it to the Employee for final signature.

How to access completed Evaluations for all employees:

From Dashboard: Click View My Current Evaluation,. then select Completed, and you will see a list of your completed reviews.

Journal Entry (can be used by Employee and Manager):

  1. Click Performance on the left hand side menu.
  2. Click Journal Hub at the top of the screen.
  3. Click Journal Entry “blue button” on the top right hand side of page.
  4. Select who you want to share the entry with.
  5. Submit Journal Entry.

For Supervisors:

If your employees submit a Journal Entry to share with you, when you get to the Journal Hub, you will select who you want to view Journal Entries for (select the employee), then you will see the Journal Entries that they have submitted.

How to submit a task (can be used by Employee and Manager):

  1. Click Performance on the left hand side menu.
  2. Click Goal List under Perform Links.
  3. In the top right hand corner select the + button, select task and create your task.
  4. Once a task has been assigned it will show up on the Dashboard of the employee who it is assigned to.
  5. Once a task has been completed, you can see it under the Tasks section by going to Completed.
