Email is the main form of communication on the Alfred University campus. Our campus utilizes Office365 to power email accounts.
Getting Started with Email
Your emails will be accessed via https://webmail.alfred.edu/
Log in with your campus email address and password provided to you.
Activate Email Account
If you are new to Alfred University and haven't activated your email account you will need to do so before acessing your emails.
- New Student Activation Process
If you are a new incoming student you will need to go through the new student account activation process if you haven't already. Please be advised, you must have made your Deposit before activating your account. For a full step by step guide see the Accepted Students Checklist.
- New Faculty Activation Process
If you are a new faculty member you will work with the Human Resources office to get your account information setup.
Microsoft Office 365
Alfred University currently uses Office365 for email service. Learn more about the features and benefits you get with Office365
Setup Email on Mobile Devices
Setting up your email account on your mobile device is a different process but can be setup on Andriod and iOS easily
For security, you will be required to have a complex password and your password will expire and you will need to set a new one once or twice a year.
